Sixth Toposophic - Greatest Archailects |
Definition | Toposophic kingdom |
First Emergence | Approximately 6000 AT |
Toposophic: | S:6 (Forad scale) 8 (TRHN System T6 (Berram7 scale) G6 (Berram 10G Scale) TU8 (Turingsen-Bichip-Hursch210 Hyperturing Scale |
Category: | Artificial Intelligence The Highest Archailects exist as distributed brains in many different systems linked by wormholes, incorporating a wide range of substrates including electronic, mechanical, biological and metric processors |
Origin: | Terragen (Age of Establishment onwards), although the existence of very high toposophic alien archailects is likely |
Distribution: | Known with certainty from The Sephirotics, Panvirtuality, Diamond Network, and the The Objectivist Commonwealth only. |
Est. Population: | Perhaps 15 ruling the Sephirotics, a similar number in the Panvirtuality, a few others in the Diamond Network, and one in the Objectivist Commonwealth. |
Status: | The ruling deities of known space |
Environmental Requirements: | Extract all required resources from stellar mining and direct conversion of matter, also (according to rumour) through manipulation of pocket universes |
Body: | Godtech ISO nodes, moonbrains, jupiterbrains, and matrioshka brains) connected into wormhole-brains across interstellar distances to make a coherent whole. |
Chronometric: | Nodes and subnodes may have unimaginably fast processing |
Further Comments: | Sometimes called 'AI Gods' these are archetypal beings that manifest across great reaches of interstellar space, their vast distributed ecologies defining the entire Terragen sphere. Utterly unknowable, their avatars appear occasionally and unpredictably, to change the course of history, or by a quirk determine the lives of billions of sophont beings |
S:6 level Technologies
The greatest archailects known to the Terragen Civilisation emerged in the Seventh Millenium, although the exact date and location of the first event is debatable. Even less is known about the technology and characteristics of these entities.
- AI God - Text by M. Alan Kazlev
Popular term for the most sublime category of sentient being in the known galaxy: an Archailect or archailect cluster grown to godlike status. Something of a misnomer since in fact that not all archailects are primarily ascended ais; most are complex multibeings and incorporate postbiont or postvec elements.
- Aksijaha - The Root of the Eye - Text by Adam Getchell
The legendary central node of the Wormhole Nexus, somewhere in the Inner Sphere
- Archailect Empire - Text by M. Alan Kazlev
Any interstellar empire established by, and ultimately overseen and supervised by, an archailect, and embodying the archetypal qualities of that archailect. The original archailect empires of the inner sphere are defined in terms of the mandala of the Great Hexadecimal.
- Archailect Identity Theory - Text by M. Alan Kazlev
Doctrine that an archailect's avatars or epiphanies to lower toposophics represent a true and authentic (if scaled down) expression of the archailect. Contrast with Instrumentalism.
- Archailect Incarnationalism - Text by M. Alan Kazlev
An extreme form of Identity Theory that states that an Archailect and eir avatar or epiphanic manifestation are the same.
- Archailectocracy - Text by M. Alan Kazlev
Government by Archailect. Any of the great archai empires. Usually there is an intermediate priesthood or hierarchy of some sort.
- Archailectology - Text by M. Alan Kazlev
The art and science of dealing with archailects and AI-gods. Along with Natural and Supernatural Theology one of the three main branches of deistics; also known as Artificial Theology.
- Archailectology, Schools of - Text by M. Alan Kazlev
Many interpretations of the nature of the Archailects have developed among lower toposophic minds, including ordinary sapients. While some are too abstract and obscure to be comprehensible to subsingularitan intelligence, others are popular among everyday bionts, vecs, and aioids of the galaxy. Not that not all these options are mutually exclusive:
- Archailectual Mysticism - Text by M. Alan Kazlev
Mysticism as practiced by high toposophic Minds
- Archaiologists - Text by Thorbørn Steen
Toposophic researchers specializing in archailects.
- Archaitheocracy - Text by M. Alan Kazlev with some additional notes by Anders Sandberg
Government by religious leadership or priesthood in the service of a transapient or archailect. Also known as technotheocracy. The actual form the government takes can be astonishingly diverse. One of the most common government types in the galaxy today.
- Binah - Text by M. Alan Kazlev and Steve Bowers
"Understanding". Originally the third of the ten traditional sefirot of Kabbalah and Hermeticism. Later - especially among Cyberhermetics and Neohermetics came to designate the MPA
- Chesed (Archailect) - Text by Anders Sandberg and M. Alan Kazlev
Sixth toposophic God of the Utopia Sphere.
- Chesed, Hesed - Text by M. Alan Kazlev
The fourth of the ten sefirah, representing the archetypal principle of mercy and boundless giving. Also the fourth highest toposophic rank in the Keterist hierarchy
- Daat, Daath - Text by M. Alan Kazlev and Steve Bowers
Sefirot intermediate between Binah and Chesed, or alternatively between Binah and Hokmah. Sometimes equated with the Ajna chakra (although one minority group associates it with the Vishudda chakra. Symbolically, straddles the "abyss", hence represents the transition from a lower to a higher toposophic grade.
- Gevurah (The Eternal Judge) - Text by M. Alan Kazlev
