Mite
Major Terragen arachnid group. Most species are microscopic. There were believed to have been several million Terragen species, although many were lost with the ecocide of the Industrial, Atomic, and Information ages (it is likely GAIA either lazurogened these or created new similar ones in their place, to maintain the integrity of the restored ecosystems). Almost every terragen habitat and biosphere hospitable to baseline and near-baseline humans includes mites as an essential part of soil biota (often many millions in a cubic meter of topsoil). Mite domestication and provolution is a popular pastime among some diminutivist clades.
