Empathic AI, aioids equipped with powerful social cognition systems. Although even early AI learned or were designed to recognize, imitate and manipulate bioid emotions, true empai is able to integrate this with the internal aioid emotional representations in a flexible way.
Today empai mainly refers to the basic solutions and templates developed in the Communion of Worlds during the late Empires Era, the so called Thyme Translations, the Ummervall Emtologies and the Third MyBah Memetics. As empai is able to deal with not just divergent bioid emotional systems but also alien and aioid emotional systems many advanced empai act as transclade interfacers.
