Bad Philosophy

Generally, philosophical arguments or theses that are poorly thought out, make sloppy use of reasoning, are deliberately devious or misleading, or otherwise faulty or harmful.
Bad philosophy memes are remarkably tenacious among less educated and intelligent sentients. Some nuage groups, militant supremacists, a number of paranoid polities and clades, and some baseline religious sects are the worst users of bad philosophy. A number of small and disreputable NoCoZo polities (often little more than a single small orbital) make a good income from giving out pseudodoctorate crests and certificates, which delude the recipient into thinking e really is qualified to talk on these subjects.
