New Zaire is a world in the Sophic League which was initially founded by colonists who predominantly traced their ancestry back to Central Africa. This world was quite dry and heavily cratered when the colony ships arrived, but over the next half a millennium it was successfully terraformed.
This world has a long history of traditional culture derived from Central African elements. The majority of the population follow various eclectic polytheist faiths, heavily featuring Santist influences.
