This nebula formed more than a million years ago after a supernova event, and contains two smaller and younger supernova remnants, including the Vela Supernova Remnant.
This nebula extends from Sophic League territory into Non-Coercive Zone territory, and includes enclaves of Diamond Network territory, many Stellar Umma worlds, and the Vela Immunity.
