| The Local Group of Galaxies | |
The Local Group includes the Milky Way, the larger Andromeda Galaxy (M31), the Triangulum Galaxy (M33), and dozens of smaller galaxies. Most of these are dwarf ellipticals. The Local Group is considered to be an 'irregular cluster.'
The Local Group is home to a wide variety of xenosophont civilizations.
